Tulips locked horns with Daisies in a nerve-racking eliminator to gain momentum before defeating Lilies in a one-sided final to be champions.
Match 7
After losing to the Daisies in the last round robin fixture, the Accra Tulips were poised to win the decider for the opportunity to get closer to the trophy. Daisies were put in to bat, and they went all in with a positive mindset to put up a competitive team target of 113 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. The opening batters gave a good start and were the main contributors to their team score: Abigail Amuzu (12) and Elizabeth Frimpong (19). The rest contributed bits to allow them to set the target of 114 runs with the asking rate of 5.7 runs per over. Rebecca Adotei, with the ball in hand (2/14) for the Tulips.
In pursuit, the Tulips had eyes fixed on the target, yet they stumbled in many periods of the game before achieving the target, leaving 3.4 overs to spare. Rebecca Adotei (10) and Christiana Manu (24) anchored them in the chase to 116/9 in 15.3 overs, winning by 1 wicket. Christiana Nyameke (3/30) and Abigail Amuzu (2/40) were the standout bowlers for the Daisies.
Match 8
Tulips won the toss again; the captain has been consistent in calling it rightly. With no hesitation they opted to field first to rely on their chasing strength. They transferred the morning win momentum into the afternoon final, leaving no room for the log leaders, the Lilies, to breathe towards the trophy. They were rolled out in 13.1 overs with no batter scoring past a single digit. Esther Manu (9) and Rachel Gadose (4). Elizabeth Dokuvi (2/7) and Daniella Adotei (1/7) were the Lilies’ shipwreckers.

Accra Tulips secured the 2025/2026 GCA Greater Accra Senior Women’s T20 League with a doubleheader win. What a comeback.
