Ghana Cricket Association to Host ICC Level 2 Coach Tutors Course in Accra
Accra, Ghana—The Ghana Cricket Association (GCA) is proud to announce that it will host the International Cricket Council (ICC) Level 2 Coach Tutors course in Ghana from June 5 to 7, 2026, at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium Conference Hall, Legon.
This significant event will bring together 15 carefully selected coaches from across the region who will undergo training to become ICC-certified Level 2 coach tutors. The course is a critical component of the ICC’s Coaching and Education program, aimed at enhancing the coaching capabilities of ICC Africa member nations.
The ICC Level 2 Coach Tutors course will equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge required to train and mentor future cricket coaches. The course will focus on
- Operating as a Coach developer
- Knowledge and understanding of the course you will be delivering,
- Time spent delivering the course as a ‘mock’ or real course. This section will include an assessment of your ability to facilitate learning.
The course will be facilitated by experienced ICC personnel, Chris Cardoso and Anthoine Ferreira, both from South Africa.
