The Ghana Cricket Association’s annual Pink Day Breast Cancer Awareness Programme is in its 3rd year. Each year the Association responds to the worldwide clarion call for Breast Cancer Awareness by organizing screening events for its female cricket players as well as women, girls, and other interested persons within various local communities. The Association does this in conjunction with a public or private hospital within its locality.

The 3rd edition, dubbed Pink Day with the theme ‘Bowl Out Breast Cancer’ Games took place on Friday, 31st October, 2025, at the Achimota Cricket Oval. The Games started with a coaching clinic to kickstart the eventful day, as part of developing female cricketers. A 6-aside cricket game was also held.

Whilst the games were underway, screening and Breast Cancer Awareness talks for all players and women within the Achimota catchment community also took place.
