100 junior females from the Okai-Kwei District Basic Schools (Achimota Basic 1 & 2, Anunmle, Aggrey, Nii Okai, Sackey Odoi, & Asikuma from the Eastern Region) and 14 Accra senior ladies gathered for the ongoing ICC Women’s Cricket Week Celebration.
The celebration was graced by the president of the Ghana Cricket Association, Mr. Emmanuel O. Asare, before kicking off with some quality engagement with renowned resource persons on mental health by Dr. Mavis Asare, clinical sport psychologist; anti-doping by Emmanuel Odame, Ghana Anti-Doping Agency; and anti-corruption by Mr. Dennis Amoa-Ababio, Ghana Cricket Ethics Officer, before signing up with an eventful coaching clinic to sum up the exciting day.
