A two-day Training of the Trainers (TTT) program was successfully held on June 26-27, 2025, at Saltpond Catholic Boys Basic School. The program brought together 30 participants from 26 schools in Saltpond Circuit A & B, comprising 25 males and 5 females.
The training aimed to equip physical education teachers with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively introduce the game of cricket to their pupils. The participants were taken through the rudiments of the game, i.e., batting, bowling, and fielding.
The TTT program underscores the commitment of the Ghana Cricket Association (GCA) to build capacity in the hopes of introducing the game to as many people as possible. By empowering these trainers, GCA seeks to continually develop and spread the game in Saltpond and Ghana.
