The Chevrons of Zimbabwe repeated the 100% winning record in the group stages as their lady Chevrons did in the Women’s T20 earlier at the African Games
Zimbabwe had to field first in the afternoon game on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, limiting the yellowgreens of Nigeria to 88/9 in 17.4 overs, as Danladi Ibrahim retired hurt on the 3.5 over. It was a daunting task for Nigeria as they struggled with the bat, not getting solutions to the swift bowling of Zimbabwe.
The Chevrons made light work in the second innings and achieved 91/0 in 16 overs, with Rodney Mupfudza 39*(54) and Tadiwanashe Marumani 47*(44) starting to finish, while Zimbabwe won by 10 wickets.
6 points secured in Group B and a matchup with Kenya in the second semifinal on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the Achimota Cricket Oval A.

Owen Mzondo recorded figures of 4.0-0-11-3 and swept away the man of the match accolade.
Before their match on Oval B, Tanzania were 2nd in Group B with 2 points and had hoped they went to the semis alongside Zimbabwe. Things, however, went the other way for them, as they were limited to 71/9 after winning the toss.
A determined Namibia side, who had lost their two opening games to Zimbabwe and Nigeria, put up a spirited performance to seal a semifinal berth, achieving 72/3 in 12.3 overs, beating Tanzania by NRR difference (0.19 to -0.22), as they won by 7 wickets. All other 3 teams aside, Zimbabwe had 2 points, with Nigeria sitting bottom with -1.15 NRR.
Interestingly, Tanzania beat Nigeria by 47 runs, while Nigeria beat Namibia by 3 wickets and Namibia defeated Tanzania by 7 wickets, but all of them lost to Zimbabwe.
Namibia will play as a guest to Uganda in the opening semifinal on Thursday, March 21, 2024.
